-Silas is an albino; it can be implied he was taken in by Opus Dei and it saved him from his dark past
-Langdon is claustrophobic
-Fache is highly religious
-Fache believes Langdon is the suspect for Sauniere's murder
-Fache and Collet are agents of the French Judicial Police, roughly equivalent to the USA's FBI.
