-Teabing needs Langdon to solve the password of the cryptex, so he gives it to Langdon
-Langdon walks away from Teabing and Sophie, and realizes the password to the cryptex is 'apple', and behind his back takes the map out, and puts the cryptex back together. He then throws the empty cryptex which Teabing thinks contains the map into the air
-Teabing drops his gun and frantically fails to catch the cryptex
-Langdon reveals that he has the map
-Fache and police enter and apprehend Teabing
-Silas is wounded by a bullet to the chest, and slowly dies, praying for the Bishop
-Fache tells Bishop what Silas has done, leaving Aringarosa disheartened at his actions. He plans to give the bonds to the families of the victims which Silas killed

-The plane lands in the private hangar despite the airports orders and as the police scramble, Langdon and Sophie drag Silas into the back of a limousine and hide
-Teabing emerges from the plane with Remy, and smooth talks the police
-As the police illegally search his private plane, they find nobody and are embarrassed, letting them go
-Teabing suggests to go to the Temple Church where the tomb was
-Remy unties Silas and looks forward to being rich, telling Silas that he too works for the Teacher
-both men get guns and start doing their jobs

-the 2 scholars continue their explanation, revealing Mary Magdalene in Da Vinci's The Last Supper. Jesus, who was married to Mary, left her instructions to carry on his ministry. Mary was actually a descendant of the powerful bloodline of Benjamin. Mary also had offspring.
-Aringarosa calls Opus Dei HQ at New York, asking if he had any messages. He had a message that only left a number. The number belonged to the French Judicial Police, and the man who picks up tells the Bishop he has a lot to talk about
-Teabing reveals that the Holy Grail is the tomb of Mary, and the Sangreal documents prove Mary's bloodline being related to Jesus. The founder of the Priory is a descendant of Jesus.
-Sophie contemplates the possibility that her and her family may be related to the bloodline
-Remy calls Teabing into the kitchen for a discussion
-Langdon dismisses the idea that Sophie could be a descendant of Mary's bloodline
-Teabing comes back and demands why he has been tricked into hiding criminals into his own home
-Teabing is ready to kick them out of the house, when they pique his interest by revealing they have the keystone
-Teabing finds out the 4 brothers of the Priory are dead
-They reveal the location of the keystone, under a chair where they hid it at first
-Silas draws his gun and makes his move into the house

-Langdon suggests to go to Englishman Sir Leigh Teabing's mansion in Versailles, as he is a historian and Grail scholar, who might be able to help them. Teabing is an acquaintance of Langdon
-Langdon and Sophie get to Teabing's estate's intercom, where they are asked 3 trick questions before being allowed to enter

-The message they find on the Mona Lisa: So dark the con of man
-The warden of the museum takes Langdon into custody while Sophie hides
-Silas finds a stone tablet referencing a verse from the book of Job. The verse says: "Hitherto shalt come, but no further."
-at this point, Sister Sandrine runs and starts phoning the 4 brothers of scion, as she is the sentry for them
-Claude Grouard, the warden, holds Langdon captive, while Sophie searches Madonna of the Rocks, as "so dark the con of man" is another anagram for Madonna of the Rocks. She eventually finds a key decorated with the fleur de lis and P.S.
-Sophie holds the Madonna of the Rocks as her shield and forces the warden to comply as he puts down his gun and lets Langdon go
-Sister Sandrine calls all the numbers but finds that they are dead. As she is calling the 4th number and leaving a message, Silas comes in, demands where the keystone is. When she tells him she doesn't know, Silas bludgeons her with the candle stand and she dies
-Sophie and Langdon escape in her smartcar, heading to the embassy
-they realize the embassy is blocked off by the police; as they turn around the police notice and follow in pursuit
-Throughout the car ride, Sophie recalls a very weird ceremony she witnessed at her grandfather's house when she was younger, which made her cut all forms of communication from him for 10 years
-Sophie shows Langdon the key, and they try to figure it out
-They stop at the train station and buy tickets to the next train out of Paris
-Bishop Aringarosa arrives in Rome and heads to Castel Gandolfo, the Pope's summer residence
-Aringarosa believes science and religion cannot co-exist
-He recalls the terrible truth revealed to him at the meeting at Castel Gandolfo 5 months ago
-Sophie and Langdon get on a taxi, where they find an address on the key, and they head towards the address
-Fache calls in Interpol
-In the taxi, Langdon tells Sophie the Priory guards the secret of the Holy Grail
-The taxi driver wants to turn them in; Sophie holds him by gunpoint and Langdon drives the taxi stick shift with difficulty away
-Silas sits in his room, devastated because he killed all the brothers but still did not find the keystone
-Langdon and Sophie now converse about the history of the Grail
-They reach the address on the key; it is a Swiss bank
-Bishop Aringarosa arrives at Castel Gandolfo to receive bank bonds from the Vatican City's secretary and 2 other high rank cardinals
-Langdon and Sophie enter the bank using the key to get through the gates and etc.
-They meet a stationed guard, who tells them to go down the elevator to the vault. After they leave, the guard informs Interpol and the bank president, Andre Vernet.
-Langdon and Sophie realize they need an account number to access the vault
-Fache sends his men after Langdon and Sophie
-After Vernet learns of the situation, he tries to alleviate the situation because he does not want his bank's name out in the public as Langdon and Sophie are high profile suspects

-Sophie wants the account number but Vernet tells them only the client knows the account number to ensure safety of the employees
-Langdon realizes the account number is the Fibonacci Sequence
