-Langdon calls his editor in New York who admits to sending a transcript of Langdon's upcoming novel to Sauniere so he could get a blurb to put on the back of the book
-They reach the airfield and force the pilot to take Langdon and Sophie by threatening him with a gun and bribing him with money
-Teabing warns Sophie of their journey; how the Grail holds a power to reveal a enormous secret to the world
-Sophie tells Teabing she will know what to do when the time comes
-Andre Vernet calls the police to let them know he wants the item Langdon and company took back
-The police get a lead on how they have went to catch a ride on an airplane
-Langdon and company study the text they found earlier inside the cover of the wooden chest
-Only Sophie realizes it is reverse text
-They analyze the iambic pentameter, concluding they need to use Atbash, a type of ancient encrpytion to unlock the cryptex
-Fache mercilessly forces the air traffic controller to tell him where Teabing's plane went
-Langdon tells Sophie about the sex ritual she witnessed 10 years ago involving her grandfather

-Aringarosa gets off the phone with Fache, and realizes his plan is spiralling and crashing down

-The cryptex is opened, only to find another smaller cryptex wrapped in vellum
-Collet and his men investigate Teabing's large estate and find a postcard explaining Teabing's opinions on cathedrals and a list of the grand master of the Priory
-Teabing plans to bribe the airport officials to let Langdon and Sophie through, but when the pilot gets a radio message to land directly on the terminal instead of the hangar, Teabing becomes suspicious and talks to the pilot
-The plane lands in the private hangar despite the airports orders and as the police scramble, Langdon and Sophie drag Silas into the back of a limousine and hide
-Teabing emerges from the plane with Remy, and smooth talks the police
-As the police illegally search his private plane, they find nobody and are embarrassed, letting them go
-Teabing suggests to go to the Temple Church where the tomb was
-Remy unties Silas and looks forward to being rich, telling Silas that he too works for the Teacher
-both men get guns and start doing their jobs
-at the airfield Fache is furious at the England police
-In the Temple Church, the gang fails to find what the poem explained
-Remy and Silas enter, threatening the altar boy to run
